2)  To find your MPP Click here to Link to Listing of MPP's by Area

3)  Email your MPP and follow-up from your letter.  Be sure to get a response and let
your MPP know you want to visit.

4)  Arrange for a visit with one or more individuals from your area for support and
impact.

5)  Prepare a brief information package.  Your group can help you with this.  The
information package should include 3 stories.  One that includes a failed move out to the
community, another of severe disability - success stories.  Include in your package
letters from MPP's who support us.  As well include a downloaded printed copy of
OPSEU's Centre of Excellence Report.  If possible, provide your MPP with signed
petitions to read in parliament.

6)  At your meeting with your MPP, walk through your package with them and explain
what each document contains.  Provide a copy for them.  Request a tour of the HRC
facilities.  IF they do not want to visit, get a reason for it.  Let us know why, so that others
can learn how to handle the reasons, so that we can overcome their resistances.

7)  The Tour - make sure that the tour is arranged through HRC admin office.  Call Edith
Mole to arrange.  Secondly, make sure someone in your group will tour with him.  This is
very important for two reasons.  First you get to witness their response and report back
to us. Secondly, the tours can be very biased, and mis leading information.  You can be
there to monitor and correct those statements.  Also, you can request to visit all areas of
importance.  We will work to get a tour guide list of items your MPP should see.  I will
post this early this week.

8)  Send in your question to John Tory, Leader Progressive Conservative Party - Ontario.
He will take your questions to question period in parliament.
